The church located next to the courtyard is the best-preserved part of the monastery. The Italian frescoes on its façade date back to the 15th century. Today, the church serves as a unique venue for classical music concerts and events organized as part of the Bellapais Music Festival.
Bellapais Music Festival – International Bellapais Music Festival
Organized by the Northern Cyprus Music Association, the festival celebrated its 27th edition in 2025 with a magnificent program at Bellapais Monastery. Be sure to reserve your tickets for the 28th festival, which will take place in 2026.
According to a statement from the Music Association, the festival held at Bellapais Monastery will begin in September and conclude in November.
